DOWN THE ROAD

In the rolling hills of Missouri there are countless landscapes of barns, hills, and dirt roads. This painting “Down the Road” captures just that.  The Artist placed the barn in the corner as an attempt to hid it, in plain view. Although he was successful, it still owns the painting. From the dirt road, and into the green foreground, and over the rolling yellow hills, you stumble back to the red barn.  Tying you back to the reason your there.  The single floating tree in the background provides just a dash of subject, but the artist keeps the tree mute in color, as to not distract from the rest of the painting.  This iconic landscape is a true representation of Missouri's countryside and can be found along its many dirt roads.
